Since it’s not easily accessible by foot, they offer a water taxi that takes you directly to the beach club. This makes it feel more remote and relaxed. There are beach clubs for every vibe, some are very luxurious, some are more party-focused, and Arienzo felt like the perfect in-between. You’ll need to book in advance, choose your sunbed row, and typically select a bottle of champagne. Lunch is included, and you can stay most of the day. The reservations open 2 weeks in advance at a cretain time so you REALLY have to be on top of it. I was only able to get us cocktail reservations, I even tried twice and both times I was only able to get us in for cocktails. For today we went around 6pm, it was beautiful and very romantic. We had a bottle of red wine and they served snacks which were free. It was truly magical seeing Positano at night. The waiter knew it was my birthday so they brought out a little dessert and sang happy birthday to me, it was beautiful! I got us second row chairs, we were greeted with a bottle of rosè and we really just laid out and relaxed. We also had lunch here and the food was really good. When you buy tickets to Arienzo Beach Club they have a free boat shuttle that’ll pick you up at the main beach in Positano, it also includes lunch and whatever bottle comes in the row you get. Going to a beach club is a must do in the Amalfi Coast. We did some shopping by the Spanish steps and then headed to dinner at the popular Osteria de Fortunata. There was a line but it went by pretty quickly for us. Let me tell you, it’s worth it! There were only about a dozen rooms, a pool, a reception area where we had breakfast and dinner, and a nice outdoor patio overlooking the Tuscany hills and a view of a medieval village in the distance. The property was gorgeous! It was a very romantic dinner, good food, and good wine. The steak is massive! Totally worth it. Then we headed back to our B&B and sipped on wine on the rooftop. One of my friends who went to Florence years ago convinced me to ride the carrousel, it was so fun! I used to love carrousels growing up, you have to do this, especially at night while a little wine tipsy, I mean why not?! I remember saying “who’s palace is that??” because it was huge!) I’m not sure exactly what the palace was that we went to but google said it was the Medici Palace, but it’s wrong. It was a small palace, still very beautiful, not too far from the Duomo. The entire menu matched the theme, even the desserts. One of our cakes had an edible crown on it, which was such a fun touch. The tea was great, and the sandwiches and desserts were delicious. Nothing mind-blowing, but still very good. We biked across to Oishi Park on the other side of the lake, and it ended up being the most beautiful bike ride I’ve ever been on. Mount Fuji is just so breathtaking to see in person, it almost doesn’t look real. Once we got to Oishi Park, we wandered around for a bit, but noticed a lot of places were closing early (we were here on a Saturday). It’s super popular and typically has a two-hour wait. Luckily, you can grab a ticket, wander around, and come back closer to your turn. While we waited, we explored the lively Shinjuku nightlife, grabbed a few drinks at a bar, and then returned to Udon Shin. When I say it didn’t disappoint, I mean it, easily the best noodles we had during our entire trip. There’s more modern art in this garden, a much different feel from Versailles. We walked more and decided to get drinks and food at a cafe called Champagne a la Coupe, I got my first glass of Champagne in France and we had some pasta. Loved this cafe! We saw another couple nearby that had a whole beautiful picnic set up with the baskets, blankets, stands for the food, flowers, and more, it looked awesome! We then walked down along the Seine to the Pont Alexandre III bridge, it’s a very popular/famous bridge in Paris with views of the Eiffel tower and great photo shots. The bridge is massive and the detail is amazing. We got there around sunrise, 7:30am, and there was already a line, we waited around 15 minutes to get these photos. This spot was less than a 5 minute walk from our airbnb. So after we headed back and I looked over the photos and realized it was the wrong location, I was looking for a different location I had saw on someone’s blog. The line was a lot shorter here, we only waited a few minutes. Now this was pretty back lit, it was basically just on the other side where we first were so the sun was behind us, but you can edit this easily with your phone. I liked this spot so much better because the blue domes are much more prominent here. This one is harder to get to, you have to climb down two ladders, if you have bad knees or aren’t very mobile, I’d skip out on this beach. However it was my personal favorite beach in Milos. The beach itself is very small, we were here in shoulder season so it wasn’t very packed but in the summer I know it’s hard to find a place here. Come early, especially during summer, we could not find a spot outside but we did get there only 10 minutes before sunset. I’d recommend coming at least 30 minutes before. We then walked down to the beach in front of O!Hammas! which is where we were eating lunch. Wouldn’t recommend coming to the beach out front here, it was quite dirty. But O!Hammas! was delicious and felt like you were in a fairy garden. They are known for meat and the adorable handwritten menus. The aesthetic is beautiful, food and drinks were awesome, it was very comfortable, service is good, and of course the views are amazing. You can check out the church here and if you walk past it you’ll find what looks to be remains of an ancient home or some structure, and then walk past this a little to the cliffs and the rock colors are amazing. In this picture I was standing on a purple cliff, it looks more purple in real life. The views here are so beautiful! We left the mask on for 30 minutes and washed it off in the sea. Really cool and unique experience, so much fun! Find the clay looking like rocks and you really have to dig in there and get it wet. I thought I would just be able to run my hand over the rock to determine if it’s the mud mask one but it didn’t work. We had reservations at Stork rooftop around sunset time, we had an amazing view of the sunset and Acropolis. This rooftop is very pretty, good food, good drinks, and good service. It’s a shareable style menu so you can order a bunch of different plates and share with whoever you’re there with. It was such a surreal moment. He pointed out filming locations and dropped us off to explore. It was so fun, we felt like kids again. Hvar was easily one of our favorite days. We were just outside the old town and had the most amazing views of the castle and the sea. We had a hot tub and a pool, plus we were close to a little market, overall it was a really great place. There were multiple heights, so it’s great for all levels. I even jumped from the highest one (about 13 meters). It’s super popular—and for good reason! The café is set in a traditional hanok-style building with floor seating and a serene vibe. We didn’t get the floor seating, but still enjoyed the aesthetic. The food and coffee were okay (not mind-blowing), but the atmosphere made up for it. It was breathtaking. It’s been on my bucket list for almost a decade so I was extremely excited to do this. We flew for about an hour, had views of the city, some fabulous homes, and flew through the hills. I absolutely love star gazing and find so much fascination by the universe so I LOVED this stay. We left the curtains open all night and then woke up to the sunrise.
